BEFORE + AFTER of our little weekend project! Finally jumped on the chalkboard wall bandwagon. I’ve been trying to make updates around our home, little by little. It helps me get organized and minimize…especially the amount of things my kids have. Jax was such a big helper, see him in action here. After two quick coats of Rust-Oleum® Chalkboard paint…voilà! We love it! I even brightened up his wooden chairs with a coat of Green Bean by Glidden®. He likes to sit and play his guitar on them. The whole project was less than $30. Well worth it because eventually the boys will share a room so I wanted to make it a fun space for them. Jax has already been drawing lollipops and the letter ‘i’ all over. Since Case is too little to doodle, we store the chalk in a little vintage Fischer Price barn, otherwise he will eat it.

Had a blast today at the Little Gym for our friend Cole’s 1st birthday party! Jumping, catching bubbles and playing on the rings and balance beam…he didn’t want to leave.
