Just added You Are My Wild to my daily reads. It is a weekly portrait project that brings together 14 photographers to document how they see their children. I love when talented people collaborate. It’s such a beautiful thing.

Hey Dads…a new mag! Kindling Quarterly is an exploration of fatherhood. They just launched the first issue. Through essays, interviews, editorials, art, and photography they highlight creative individuals whose work and lives are inseparable from their role as a parent. There is no shortage of familiar portrayals of dads in media yet they aim to present a thoughtful dialogue about fatherhood that is missing from our cultural landscape. Men who are active caregivers are not a novelty and they do not depict them as such. While the subjects of their stories are fathers, each issue appeals to anyone interested in art, creativity, and community. Kindling Quarterly playfully assesses and celebrates the multitude of experiences that form contemporary fatherhood. Pre-order now or subscribe for the entire year!

I posted this about The Glow awhile back, but I can’t help but post about it again. Too many glowing photos by the talented, Kelly Stuart and all the gorgeous, stylish kids. These are some of my new faves…
above / Founder of Feyt, Eleanor Ylvisaker and her three year old son, Alastair. He loves music. She says…“Having kids has given me the most amazing perspective and clarity on what is important, and it forces me to be real and in the moment. Children see right through adults, and gravitate to kindness and authenticity.”
below / Consultant and designer, Christina Hutson and her two little ones, Lowe and Valentine. She and her husband are the founders of Hutson and Obedient Sons & Daughters (pretty bad ass website designed by designedmemory). I love this quote from her…“Couples often say that a weekly ‘date night’ keeps your marriage in the honeymoon phase. I believe it’s the small surprises: a hidden Post-It message you find later in the day, a text message to remind your spouse that you are their best friend, a humorous banner hanging over the fireplace that makes them laugh, that honesty about yourself that only your partner will give you, whether you like it or not.”
PHOTOGRAPHY FEATURE: I just love the work of Maddy Lucas, especially the way she photographs children…and the backdrops and props are so clever. These were some of my favorites. You must visit her site to see her scenic work too. It’s incredible! Her and her husband also have a cute stationary shop, Ello There.
Casen had his first photoshoot last Saturday! My friend Katie from college was so kind to squeeze us in. She is such a talented photographer…just love her style. See more photos of baby Casen at Katharine Roberds Photography.
The Glow is a glimpse into the worlds of inspiring and fashionable moms…a place where they share styling ideas, ideal gear, secrets and more. I had to share a few of the gorgeous photos by Kelly Stuart. above / Photographer Zoë Buckman and her daughter, Cleo. I’m so obsessed with her Isabel Marant dress. below / Design Consultant, Laura Garcia and her daughter, Georgiana. Her home looks incredible.
100 Layer Cake
How exciting! Our photographer, Mike submitted our wedding to 100 Layer Cake…and they made a lovely post today.
Hopefully this will make your day…I know it made mine! top Our little peanut, Jaxon walking up the aisle at our wedding with my niece, London and my nephew, Weston. bottom Our first dance. (I’m pretty sure this will be larger than life print in our home…ha!)
Part two of our wedding photos were posted today…see them here. Thank you to our good friend Mike for such an amazing job photographing our special day!

Just wanted to share part one of our wedding photos!
Wedding wedding wedding…that’s all I feel like we talk about! Ahhh…can’t it just be here already. Just a few weeks away and I am still finding myself meandering up and down all the wedding blogs looking for ideas. Oh yeah like I don’t have enough projects up my sleeve. But this one is the cutest ever…a KID PARADE! Ruffled posted this colorful woodsy wedding…instead of having a traditional flower girl and ring bearer, all the little children just marched up the aisle preceding the bridal procession. So fun!

Happy Monday! Yesterday Jax and I had a mini photoshoot, since he turned 18 months last week. Had to post this one. He was saying ‘tookie’ over and over. He kept feeding all the cookies to George. You can see the best one here.

Happy Father’s Day to all you awesome dads out there!
I’ve fallen in love with the work of Australian photographer, Alexandrena Parker. I first saw her work online on Wovenplay. Every one of her photos makes me smile…so warm and magical. After reading her bio and learning that she was born with cystic fibrosis, I am truly inspired by her. I admire her passion and willingness to help others. Please read her blog and spread the word.
Thank you Alexandrena for allowing me share your work…you are so talented!
Yesterday, I spent most of the day searching Getty for luxury images for a current project. I couldn’t stop staring at this one! Toys boats…agh I just love the colors. Maybe this summer Daddy can make Jaxon one to sail around in the swimming pool. I will have to remember this post from a lovely follower, she just made a little fleet of teeny tiny boats for her son Jack. He also plays with a few neat ones by Willow Baus.
