Roald Dahl stamps! Royal Mail has released a new set of stamps to celebrate the classic children author…he was my fav when I was a kid! The series features Quentin Blake’s famous illustrations of six of Dahl’s most popular children’s stories feature, such as Matilda, Fantastic Mr Fox, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach and more. Must get some for my stamp collection!
Speaking of stamps…I saw Jessica Hische! She gave an incredible and hilarious lecture last night at Sam Fox School of Art & Design at Washington University. Her love stamp was recently released.

Matte Stephens is a super talented artist from Portland. I can’t believe I am just now discovering his work. The geometric shapes, the colors, cameras, arrows…it’s so pleasant and humorous all at the same time. I just love it. I’m thinking about ordering a print from his shop…could quite possibly be my inspiration piece for the baby’s nursery.

Welcome baby Ethan! My friend Mike and his wife Lauren just had a precious baby boy. I can’t believe he is already over a month old. Mike is a talented designer and photographer. He illustrated all the artwork for the nursery. And I was so excited to see the vintage wooden blocks that I gifted to them, sitting on a shelf…too cute!
I can’t wait for Mike to photograph our wedding in August!

Oh mother nature…some of you may or may not know that Joplin, Missouri was completely destroyed by a horrifying tornado a few weeks ago. I can’t imagine the devastation. So many lives lost. After hearing the news and watching numerous videos everyone wanted to help. Several designers at my work have designed posters to benefit those who have lost everything. All proceeds will be donated to the United Way Small Business Fund, a project created to help rebuild the city’s economy.
