Easter Sunday was full of blue skies, warm weather and family. Every other year we go to my grandma’s home to celebrate Easter. This year we were able to spend time with both our families. My mom made the boys ties…so cute! It was Casen’s first Easter. He was sort of crabby…he doesn’t like to get off schedule, but he was so good in church. Jax, on the other hand spent most of the time in the bathroom, walking around outside with Daddy and discovering the baptismal fountain. As long as I can remember we always flew kites on Easter. It was so awesome to see Thomas and Jax run around the football field flying Jaxon’s first kite (captured on vine). Jax had a blast hunting easter eggs twice and eating way too much chocolate. I think I had way too many Reeses eggs. Mimi and Papa spoiled the boys with lots of goodies…and sand toys for our vacation! It was a great day.

Oh Christmas, you went by way too fast, like you always do. It was an overwhelming blast spending time with family this holiday. We played games, built a castle, shopped, went gawking at holiday lawn inflatables, ate cookies, rode in a carriage, made snow globes, and had lots of laughs. So many memories were made.
If you know me, I am bit of a procrastinator. But this year I’m kind of glad I was because late on Christmas Eve, my husband and I were wrapping presents…together, yes together. I just thought to myself, this is just the beginning. Ha! The beginning of pretending to be the guy in red! Oh what parents do. This year Jax thought the our tree in the living room was Christmas and that Santa was going to bring him a spaceship. For Case, it was just another day of not wanting his nose wiped and trying to stand up. Next year, I’m pretty sure we will need a bigger home or at least a toy room.
Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!

Hours and hours of entertainment. Jax loved it. He took a nap with it. I’d have to say this is the best last minute diy for kids to do for the holidays. Although I waited a little too long to get the goodies to put inside. So we used little army men…good army men.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
glass jars with lids
paint
paintbrush
heavy duty glue dots
teeny tiny figurines
tinsel glitter
water
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Gather your supplies.
2. Paint the lids, let dry.
3. Use glue dot (we use ZOTS) to adhere figurine to the inside of the lid.
4. Add glitter and water, almost to the top of the jar. If you want to get fancy…add a little bit of glycerin to slow down the snowfall.
5. Secure the lid and shake to make snow!
Note: These things aren’t made to last forever, just make sure the lid is tight. You can always use super glue or epoxy to prevent any leaks.

Hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving. It was Casen’s first turkey day! I made my very first apple pie…getting ready to eat a slice right now. I don’t have too many photos to share because we just had our family photos taken on Wednesday so everyone was pictured out. And Daddy did a lot of sleeping…he had to work today. At least he had yummy leftovers for lunch. Jax went the whole day without a nap. He actually did better than I thought. I am so thankful for my whole family and so glad we were able to share it together. If our house ever grows I’d love to host a friendsgiving!
Excited to go to to my moms this weekend, we are having cookie day!
