Lately…these two have been good pals. Maybe it could be because they both have been feeling under the weather. We are all a little stir crazy. Excited though because we are getting out of the house tomorrow to get our family photos taken! Even the dog is coming.
- mom: did you tell daddy what you heard today?
- jax: a pecker bird.
- dad: a what?
- jax: a pecker bird!
- dad: a woodpecker?
- jax: a woodpecker.
- mom: how does a woodpecker go?
- jax: bop. bop. bop. bop. bop. (while poking his cheek)
- Jax: mom what yare doing?
- Mom: working.
- Jax: [giggle] you workin.
- Mom: yep.
- Jax: good.
Lately…just reaching for the moon and sittin’ porch. (yes. he eats bread plain.) I just love these two and I am soo gonna miss them when my husband and I take our vacation here next week! Much needed. We have been in such a routine. work. work. work. crossfit. work. eat. work again. We are so ready.
update: As much as I love Casen’s handmade bumper, it has been removed from his crib because he is about to roll over!
