This weeks Etsy discovery…eleventy-five, a small clothing company owned by Jessica Wells, based in Austin, Texas. All of the designs are hand printed with environmentally friendly water based inks on organic Alternative Apparel and American Apparel brand products…so soft! Visit her site to see more.
Can’t wait for Jax and the new baby to wear her adorable clothing..just placed my order!
Lovely birth announcement by Print in Cursive…for twins! As I am waiting patiently for our new little one to arrive, I have been brainstorming ideas for his birth announcement. Of course I have some crazy ideas, but I just love how simple and fun this one is. I kept Jaxon’s announcement simple, although I would have loved to letterpress it. It was perfect and definitely fits him…he is SO into airplanes now! See it here. You can actually purchase a similar version, called little aviator that I designed and is available exclusively for Minted.com.
I just launched a website for a client this week for her new business, Sweet Roots NYC…a customized menu planning and grocery delivery service, offering the highest quality produce and goods, incredible recipes and portioned ingredients. It’s an empowering resource for people who are in key transition moments…newly married, pregnant or returning to work with young children at home. If you live in New York and want to live healthier and make delicious home-cooked meals, visit the site to learn more!

I’m totally into the dipped furniture lately. The La Clinica Collection is hand crafted furniture based on natural materials and low-tech production process by Ciszak Dalma. This little crib is incredible and I can’t get enough of the adorable wooden swing either! I would love to incorporate a piece into the baby’s nursery.
Thought I would share my moodboard I made for the baby’s nursery. Made a little impulse buy as I was searching for images…it was so perfect for his room, I just had to. Excited for it to show up on my doorstep!
HAPPY FRIDAY! xo

Monster letter prints are now available in my shop, LITTLE FRILLS paper + goods!
Jaxon’s MONSTER birthday party was a success! On Sunday we had immediate family and a few friends over to our house to celebrate. I still can’t believe he is two!
I had a blast designing all the silly monsters for his invitation, which is available in my shop. (Alphabet poster and monster prints to come!) I know I said I wasn’t going to go overboard, but I just had to make those little guys come to life. So, with the help of my mom, gran and sister, we made little stuffed letter monsters for the favors.
For lunch, Thomas made pulled pork and smoked beef brisket. It was so delicious! I made a green monster cake (snickerdoodle…yum!) and my mother-in-law crafted the eyeball cake pops for the top. Thomas said I made too many sweets…but who doesn’t like a bright orange cupcake?
After Jax blew out his little two candle, all by himself, it was time to open gifts. Oh yay! More toys. Haha! Just kidding, he actually received lots of cute clothes…much needed, thank you.
And the party ended with yummy rainbow slush, made by my sister-in-law and all the kids jumping on Jaxon’s bed…lots of fun and sticky little hands!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I have a few designs in my shop, LITTLE FRILLS paper + goods. If your little one likes rockets or moons…you are all set. Large enough to drop in the mail or perfect to hand deliver. Personalization and custom orders are available.
I am in awe right now…Maricor + Maricar, talented twin sisters, hand embroidered a family set of Sweater Letters. The letter ‘B’ is available in their shop. The letters above were commissioned by ESPN magazine for their regular ‘Go Play’ section. You must visit their site to see all the incredible tactile work!
Incredible installation at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane. Artist Yayoi Kusama created a brilliantly white environment for an interactive children’s project called The Obliteration Room…where over the course of two weeks children who visited were given colored dot stickers to collaborate in the transformation of the space. Looks like fun! The installation is part of Kusama’s Look Now, See Forever exhibition that runs through March 12.

The Glow is a glimpse into the worlds of inspiring and fashionable moms…a place where they share styling ideas, ideal gear, secrets and more. I had to share a few of the gorgeous photos by Kelly Stuart. above / Photographer Zoë Buckman and her daughter, Cleo. I’m so obsessed with her Isabel Marant dress. below / Design Consultant, Laura Garcia and her daughter, Georgiana. Her home looks incredible.
Playful alphabet illustrated by the super talented, Vesa Sammalisto. His new online shop features a series of limited edition prints of letterforms made up of cute little characters. My favorite is the ‘Q’…quite hilarious! See all twenty-six right here.

recycled s! The little buses are modeled after old Volkswagen vans. They are pretty popular so keep an eye out! Check out the yo-yos and tops too…each one of a kind. Artist Jason Greene’s shop, Board Games was recently featured on Etsy. Read more about him here.
The holidays are coming so quickly…I can’t believe that tomorrow is already Thanksgiving. I just wanted to share my sister Sarah’s new business, Modern Core. An organization and interior design business that focuses on helping others learn how to effectively organize and design their spaces. Visit her blog for tips, diy projects and more.
She also has a new shop too! She is selling modern wooden trees in three different colors (small natural tree is shown above) and handmade ornaments made from vintage rulers.
