oly cow…seven teeth, a couple curls of hair later and we now we have a sixteen month old! Seems like yesterday I wrote last months update. At this rate, we’re gonna have to have another baby soon, ha! Well, maybe next year.
I can’t kiss and squeeze him enough…our baby is now a little man. This morning I found him standing inside the refrigerator trying to reach for his milk and when we went downstairs so I could iron my shirt, he found his way into the dryer. (fyi: it was off & the door was open) Goodness…he is so independent, always trying to do things himself. Every morning, he’s sits on my hip when I pour his milk and when I’m finished he puts the red cap back on the jug. He also knows right where Georgie’s food and treats are. He makes his way to the hall closet and reaches for the cup and goes ‘Uh!’ and looks up at me. That’s the cue. Time to feed the dog. I’m so glad, he is already wanting to help momma with chores…ha!
Just in the past month he has learned where his nose and tummy are, where his shoes go (he tries to put them on himself) and even more words…’door’, ‘geej’ (for George), ‘down’, ‘cheese’, ‘oh yeah’, ‘goose’ and even a short phrase, ‘bye da, bye dad’. Which nearly made me cry because he was standing at the front door waving as Thomas drove off to work. Wonder what he will learn this month?
Thanks for being such a regular follower! glad to know someone enjoys the things I post. I really really dig your son Jaxon's travel themed birthday. I love looking through all of your post and seeing the fun things I will get to do one day as a parent. keep it up!
No problem…keep it coming! Thanks, getting ready to launch my shop with almost everything from the party in it. It was so much fun to design…nice break from everyday design work.
Your work is great too, maybe we can collaborate on a project sometime.
Very happy to see a new online store from the makers of the very excellent Bloesem Kids blog. Bloesem Kids Wear Neon stock hand made neon elastic, silver and swarovski crystal necklaces in a style that is appropriately kiddish and suitable for boys or girls. And I must admit, I do quite fancy the Mama Starfish and Baby set. Check out the shop here, their beautiful blog here and the work of their excellent photographer An Van Daele here.
I don’t usually reblog posts but candepop (a really cute baby/kids blog) was on it, this was my post for this morning. ;)
